Dunes and Buttes, 2007. Death Valley, California

This is a digitally captured RAW image shot with a 10.2 Megapixel DSLR camera. The white balance setting was obtained in the camera using the ClearWhite white balance filter. The image was adjusted for sharpness and saturation and locally burned and dodged to even-out the values in Photoshop CS2. Because the initial white balance setting was so accurate, and suited my vision for this image, no overall color corrections were needed in post-processing.
